Two people were shot and killed on the Las Vegas Strip near the Bellagio fountains Sunday night. Police say the suspect later turned himself in.

Las Vegas police have confirmed a double homicide took place on the Las Vegas Strip late in the evening of June 8. On Monday, the Las Vegas Metro Police Department said that Manuel Ruiz, 41, turned himself in at the Henderson Police Station and was charged for two counts of open murder with a deadly weapon.
