"Honestly, I think he's been great," star guard Tyrese Maxey said of Edgecombe. "Just the game that I saw and then just talking to him before, I think his mindset’s in the right place. I think he's going to go out there and compete extremely hard."

To keep things in perspective, Edgecombe’s thumb sprain will be long forgotten if he’s healthy at the start of the season. But folks in Philly have grown sensitive to very mention of an injury.
