WNBA star Brittney Griner confirmed reports that she will sign with the Atlanta Dream as a free agent. Griner posted a video on her social media accounts with Dream players Allisha Gray, Rhyne Howard and Jordin Canada. “I need to introduce my new teammates because I will be joining the Atlanta Dream,” Griner said.
The 10-time All-Star announced via Instagram Tuesday night that she would be joining the Atlanta Dream in free agency this offseason. Griner had spent her entire 11-year career with the Phoenix Mercury after being drafted by them No. 1 overall in 2013. Now she will be joining the Dream on a one-year deal.
