Linebacker Bobby Wagner, a 10-time Pro Bowl selection, is returning to the Washington Commanders on a one-year deal, sources told ESPN on Thursday. In 2024, Wagner was named second-team All-Pro -- the 11th time in his career he made an All-Pro team -- and was again voted to the Pro Bowl.

The linebacker will return for a 14th NFL season after agreeing to a one-year deal to stay with the Commanders. He had a team-best 132 tackles last year.

The Washington Commanders are re-signing 10-time Pro Bowl linebacker Bobby Wagner to a one-year deal worth up to $9.5 million, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo reported.

New Washington Commanders wide receiver Deebo Samuel was looking for a fresh start after spending six years with the San Francisco 49ers. The Pro Bowl receiver saw his role reduced in 2024, catching 51 passes for 670 yards and three touchdowns.

Deebo Samuel called his departure from San Francisco "bittersweet" but said Washington was always one of his preferred destinations after requesting a trade from the 49ers in part because of quarterback Jayden Daniels.

Deebo Samuel was one of the first big names to change teams during the 2025 NFL offseason, with the San Francisco 49ers agreeing to trade the wide receiver to the Washington Commanders at the official start of free agency.
