The Jazz jumped out to a 16-point lead in the first quarter, but the Sixers rallied to take the lead in the second quarter and never looked back. Philadelphia stretched the lead as large as 22 on its way to a 126-122 win to snap the skid and feel good about things again. Quentin Grimes had 25 points and six assists for the Sixers.

In a game where both teams would’ve preferred to improve their lottery odds, the Sixers simply had more NBA talent on the floor than the lowly Jazz.

Filipowski hit a three with 2.8 seconds left to trim the Sixers' lead to two. After a timeout, Justin Edwards threw an inbounds pass to Butler. It appeared on first glance that Butler may have fumbled the ball out of bounds, but an officials' review clearly showed that it last touched George.
