Jeremiah Smith broke Cris Carter's Ohio State record for touchdown receptions by a true freshman during the Buckeyes' rout of Purdue on Saturday.

Jeremiah Smith has played a large role for the Buckeyes all season and that continued on Saturday catching all but one of his seven targets for 87 yards and a touchdown. He also led the offense with a Pro Football Focus grade of 80.6. It’s his second-highest grade of the season.
