Alabama track's Doris Lemngole delived a record-shattering performance to repeat as national champion in the NCAA 3,000-meter steeplechase.

He is the ninth commitment in the past two weeks for head coach Jonathan Smith. Currently the Spartans have 13 total commits.

Michigan State football landed its ninth commitment in June on Saturday when CB TJ Umenyiora pledged to the Spartans.
