Former England football captain David Beckham, Oscar-winning actor Gary Oldman and The Who front man Roger Daltrey are among the prominent figures awarded knighthoods in this year’s King’s Birthday Honours list.

David Beckham has been finally awarded a knighthood after he was included in King Charles' Birthday Honours List. Beckham, 50, is one of many whose individual contribution to Great Britain have been recognised by the head of state.

Roger Daltrey was among the notable figures recognized in King Charles III ’s Birthday Honours list. The Who frontman, 81, was celebrated for his outstanding contributions to music and his long-standing charitable work — particularly with the Teenage Cancer Trust, where he has served as a patron since 2000.
