Brendan Rodgers does not want Celtic supporters to chant Kieran Tierney’s name amid links with a move away from Arsenal. The Scotland international came through the ranks with the Glasgow giants and won four Scottish Premiership titles alongside a raft of cup trophies before leaving for the Gunners in 2019.

The firm response from Rodgers after last weekend’s game has been picked up by the Celtic ultras group - but Tierney's name was missing from the host of anthems they dusted off in the clash with Dundee United. They chanted about Hoops icon Henrik Larsson first before belting out a tune for Scott Sinclair.
