Defending champion Carlos Alcaraz has forced a deciding set in the French Open final after saving three match points against Jannik Sinner.

Also in search of his 20th singles title at the ATP level, Sinner steamrolled his way through the competition at Roland Garros over the last two weeks, beating each opponent in straight sets. Sinner cruised through Arthur Rinderknech, Richard Gasquet, Jiri Lehecka, Andrey Rublev, Alexander Bublik and finally, Novak Djokovic.
