Mark Andrews, NFL and Ravens
Digest more
On Thursday at 8:15 p.m. ET, Mark Andrews and the Baltimore Ravens play the Miami Dolphins in Week 9. Game Time: 8:15 p.m.
Andrews has been disappointing this season except for one game in which he went off for six receptions on six targets for 91 yards and two touchdowns in a high-scoring loss to the Lions in Week 3. He hasn’t topped 30 yards or found the end zone in any other game.
The Los Angeles Rams could be an ideal landing spot for Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews before the 2025 deadline.
Andrews caught all three of his targets for 34 yards in Sunday's 30-16 win over the Bears.
The "tush push" play in the NFL has become controversial and hard to stop. The Philadelphia Eagles have perfected it, but opponents and officials struggle to counter it.
Simply put, the Rams need another playmaker outside of Puka Nacua and Davante Adams. L.A. hasn’t gotten much production from its tights ends this season. Between Tyler Higbee, Davis Allen, Colby Parkinson and Terrance Ferguson, they have combined for 30 receptions for 290 yards and 4 touchdowns on 43 targets, per Pro Football Reference.
ESPN goes on to say there's a 20% chance the Ravens trade Andrews, and that the best team fits would be the San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles. All three of those teams have solid tight ends, but Andrews would be a great secondary option and great injury insurance.
Will the Ravens establish the run game more? Why isn’t the Ravens defense getting more takeaways? When will Isaiah Likely and Rashod Bateman get going?
