The New York Giants suddenly have a logjam at running back with a fierce battle for roster spots beginning to rage.

All of the good feelings the New York Giants have been generating thus far in training camp temporarily vanished when start wide receiver Malik Nabers laid face down on the Quest Diagnostics Training Center turf three plays into Tuesday’s practice.

New York Giants second-year wide receiver Malik Nabers has dealt with a toe injury since college. While there are talks of surgery, pain management is the approach to training camp so far. Nabers was absent from the team's voluntary activities earlier this offseason and now the Giants are being proactive about addressing the issue as needed.
