The Los Angeles Chargers began the 2025 NFL draft by selecting North Carolina running back Omarion Hampton with the No. 22 pick in the first round on Thursday night, following up with their first pick on Friday to select Ole Miss wideout Tre Harris in the second round.

The 6-foot-4, 254-pound edge rusher led the Gamecocks with 15.5 tackles for losses and was eighth in the nation with 11.5 sacks this past season.

The Chargers closed out their 2025 draft class by selecting former Florida defensive back Trikweze Bridges with the No. 256 overall pick in the seveneth round. Los Angeles needed to add depth to the cornerback room, which they accomplished with the pick of Bridges, who has experience at multiple spots in the secondary.
