According to Bob Nightengale of USA Today, the Pirates are listening to offers for everyone on their team besides Cruz and pitcher Paul Skenes.

They could certainly use some help at the trade deadline. Jeff Passan and Kiley McDaniel of ESPN listed their Top 50 trade candidates. Among them was Pittsburgh Pirates right-hander Mitch Keller, and the Astros were listed as a possible fit.

Their 6-0 loss to right-hander Paul Skenes on Sunday, July 27, meant the Diamondbacks left town having dropped two of three to a subpar Pittsburgh Pirates team. It also meant they lost a second consecutive game started by a pitcher who could be traded in the coming days.

The Pittsburgh Pirates shut out the Arizona Diamondbacks 6-0 at at PNC Park in Pittsburgh on Sunday. Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes struck out nine players and allowed only three hits over six innings. The Pirates stand at 44-62;
