A man accused of fatally shooting a Hinds County Sheriff's Office deputy committed suicide, according to authorities. Hinds County Sheriff Tyree Jones said Hinds County Coroner Jeremiah Howard ruled that Eric Brown, 42, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
