More than 450 MBTA passengers were evacuated from a Blue Line train in the tunnel under the Boston Harbor due to a signal issue Tuesday afternoon.

Shuttle buses are replacing a portion of the Blue Line due to a signal issue at the Aquarium station, the MBTA said Tuesday.

Transit authorities evacuated nearly 500 Blue Line riders following a downed wire that hindered services on Tuesday.
