Remember to tuck your garlic in for winter. 🫶🍂 Garlic has a better survival rate when mulch is applied. Mulch insulates and prevents the freezing/thawing action which can heave cloves out of the ground. While snow cover can insulate the garlic, this can’t always be assured. So, for best results, we recommend mulching your garlic. We typically apply 6-9” of straw, but you can also use grass clippings, chopped leaves, pine needles, and more!
