Mesquite pod meal - demo of historical method. 🌳This is just a small amount for demonstration purposes, but mesquite pod meal was the most important wild food resource among Indigenous peoples in the Southwest, and this is the basic method used by dozens of tribes. 🌳Note that I don't have the best baskets for this purpose, and historically, Natives made baskets specifically for the various stages of this preparation.
