Drum Majors lead the massed pipe bands playing Scotland the Brave and Rowan Tree on the march by the tiver Tay past Perth City centre. This was in January 2020 just before the pandemic stopped these great events. This was a Robert Burns celebration and the leading drum major was Kenny Forbes, at this time with the Vale of Atholl Pipe Band. The other bands present were the RAF Central Scotland pipes & drums, Perth & District Pipe Band, Alyth Pipe Band, Glenrothes & District Pipe Band and Broughty

The massed Pipe Bands led by Pipe Major Mark Stewart playing Scotland the Brave and Rowan Tree as they marched off at the end of the 2023 Crieff Gathering and Highland Games. These were held on Sunday 20th August 2023 at Market Park in Crieff, Perthshire, Scotland. There were six bands taking part in the Games, four of which had formed here to salute the Chieftain at the end of the Games. These were (L-R) the Vale of Atholl Pipe Band, Kinross & District Pipe band, Comrie Pipe Band and Doune Pipe
