This is a decoy bird we passed by in a ricefield in Tulgao, Tinglayan, Kalinga during the Lumin-awa Trek. It's made to look like a predatory bird such as a serpent eagle, hawk eagle, or eastern buzzard. Its purpose is to scare away small birds that feast on rice grains like the maya or chestnut munia.
