On February 24, 2025, Delta Boeing 717 (N942AT) flight #DL876 from Atlanta to Columbia, NC, was forced to return to Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson International Airport after the cabin filled with haze shortly after takeoff. After the aircraft was safely landed, the passengers evacuated via emergency slides. There were 94 and 5 crew members aboard.
