From questionable Covid PPE contracts to billions spent on housing and asylum costs, it’s hard not to question where taxpayers’ money actually goes. If the system was efficient, transparent, and well-run, I’d have no issue contributing more. But until then, I focus on doing what’s completely legal to reduce my tax exposure. That means: • Investing in property through limited companies • Refinancing and recycling equity (which isn’t classed as taxable income) • Using legitimate reliefs and allowa
